Instructing at Xgames 2012

Woodward Extreme Skate Camp was in-charge of two free skateparks at the Xgames. It was very cool. There was a mini-ramp and a street course. I was one of the instructors on the mini-ramp. Love seeing the Xgames logo in the background of this picture. Sweet!

Blue tarp surfing for a Subaru ad

A few months ago, I had a gig where I was skating on top of a parking garage in downtown Los Angeles. Hey, I've done that before. But, this time, I was skating inside this big blue tarp. It's called blue tarp surfing. I tried to explain it to my friends and family but they all looked at me like I was crazy. The ad hasn't come out yet, but I finally found a picture that shows the filming of that ad and the "blue tarp surfing."

Midnight Red "Hell Yeah"

Hell Yeah, I'm the skateboarder doing that air in the Pink Motel bowl for the Midnight Red music video, "Hell Yeah." What a wild day and night that was.

Woodward West Summer 2012

So, I'm spending 8 weeks this summer instructing up at Woodward West a couple of hours north of Los Angeles. If you have never been there, here is a link to a virtual tour of the camp. Woodward West is awesome. I hope I see you there this summer. Here's a pix (of me) taken in "The Hanger."
